RAM

Random access memory, known as ram is what makes your laptop fast and it is how you can browse through multiple tabs through the internet without your computer crashing. The higher a ram is, the more expensive and pricier your laptop will be because the higher your ram is, the more tabs and applications you can have open at the same time. The ram in your computer is something that isn't always there, it only comes when you need it. Lets say you are watching a movie off the internet using 200 megabits of ram, once you close that movie you will gain back those 200 megabytes. If you are a high intensity gamer, you would preferably go with a whopping 16 GB ram and if your a student and just want to do your day to day activities, all you will really need is a 4 GB ram.
As you can see in the picture above how much ram you really need depends on what you are doing. You can see that it doesn't exceed 4 GB which means you don't really need more than 4 GB unless you multitask from one to another without closing the previous application.

  1. Not gonna lie, this post actually helped me a lot on my decision on which computer to buy. Didn't know what RAM really stood for or meant. The people at every store don't seem to explain very well. Glad this post came up on my online search! Really grateful man, keep writing, you got yourself a daily reader!
